Thats a hell of a lineup. A lot of cars I would have trouble getting rid of on that list.

I'll see your list (in chronological order, as best I can remember:

1997 Ford Mustang (v6, 1st car, 17 years old)
1979 Trans Am 301
1988 Monte Carlo SS
1987 Mustang GT hatch
1999 Cherokee I6, mild lift, tires
2001 Firebird V6
1980 Trans Am with an earlier 400
1995 Trans Am LT1
1996 Tahoe Sport
1985 Monte Carlo SS
*1999 Trans Am LS1
1964 Skylark 225 V6
2003 Ram 1500 Hemi
*2012 Ram 2500 Cummins
1989 Suburban 2500
*1979 Trans Am 403
*1989 Suburban 1500

(still have the * cars)

and I'll raise you some crappy cars I bought because I needed a ride in between projects
1998 Civic DX
1993 Civic VX
1999 Grand Cherokee
1999 Tahoe (OBS)
1999 Mustang GT
2001 Blazer 2 door v6

Crappy....

1963 Dodge - bought from my sister. Later found out why she sold it.

1963 Chevrolet SS 283 automatic - got it rather old in its life. Always wanted to break during the coldest NY weather. Had Flintstone's floor option.

Some Olds Cutlass - immediate trash

1980 Buick Skylark - with "spin around when you hit the brakes hard" option.

and more....

1975 C10 Chevy
*1976 K20 Silverado Camper Special
1975 VW Scirocco
1978 VW Rabbit Fi with the 1.8L and close ratio gearbox out of the GTI. The 78 was lighter than the 84 by around 1,200 lbs and I ran the 78 CIS fuel system on it. It was scary fast for a four banger. Ran mid 11s and right around 120mph in a 1/4 mile without the spare tire, trunk mat, and passenger seats. I weighed a bit less back then. LOL
1978 VW Rabbit Diesel... this one really did get 53mpg. None of the later VW diesels I ran got any better than 45-47mpg.
1978 Thunderbird with T-Tops. White exterior and Red interior. This was a land yacht that makes the 69 Polara look tiny. A 12 body trunk and a hood almost as long as the rest of the car. Basically a Lincoln Continental with a different trunk lid and T-Tops.

2015 Chevrolet Suburban

Yes that's 8 in my posession. I miss the Pontiacs and my sweet 78 T-Bird that only had 40K on it when I sold it for more than it was worth but less than I should've asked. The 78 Rabbit, 79 Scirocco, and the 84 GTI were really fun inexpensive little cars that cornered like they were on rails. Those V-dubs were totaled by a family member with less than 20K on the clocks. Not real keen on addicts.

The trucks are/were all 8' beds and almost all with manual gearboxes (the 2001 & 2015 are the exception). If you can't put a full sheet of plywood in the bed with the gate closed it ain't a useful truck... I could put a full sheet in the Suburban with the seats down.

I'll play this one, I've had:
*-1970 Ford F-100 - my first, still have it today
-1991 Toyota Camry - commuter while I was in college in AZ
-1980 Toyota Corolla - another commuter after '91 was totaled by a left-turner, sold to a guy from CT...probably the only car I truly miss that I've sold
-1988 Toyota Camry - third commuter in college
-1966 Dodge D-200 - project, moved and had to sell before I finished
-1972 Ford F-100 - parts truck, '70 F-100 was in a hit-and-run
-1970 Ford F-250 - parts truck, also for '70 F-100 hit and run
-1991 Acura Legend - project, sold to my dad for my step-brother to drive once I fixed it
*-1948 Chevy 3800 - project, hopefully running this summer
-1990 Cadillac Sedan Deville - commuter while working on other side of the state, then sold to my dad for my step-bro to drive (he destroyed the Acura)
*-1995 Jeep Cherokee - daily driver, wheeler
-2001 Suzuki Intruder 800 - cruiser
-1973 Olds Cutlass Supreme - was going to be a drag car but sold...455 speed parts were too spendy and the car needed to much work to be a driver
*-1979 Chevy C30 - ramp truck
*-1970 Ford F-100 - donating 4x4 frame and motor to my first '70 F-100
-1979 Ford Thunderbird - was going to run the Gambler 500 but developed a monumental front trans seal leak before even making it to Oregon
*-2004 Honda Shadow 1100 - bigger cruiser
*-1973 Ford Maverick - drag race car
*-1976 Chevy C10 - parts truck, donating motor to ramp truck

I am probably forgetting a couple, * for currently still in my posession

Probably forgotten a few, apparently they weren't that memorable. Have had several others, but these are the ones I really miss.

I can't compete with these lists...
Wish I could.

I have to admit I have owned a couple of nice Fords that i really liked.
The first was a '64 Falcon with 289. My first car actually not counting an off-road VW.

The other Ford I really liked was my '73 Thunderbird. Long and narrow with a 460. It was really hard to keep it under 75mph.

I also will admit I owned a Toyota. It was a 1999 Tacoma I called the Amocat. I installed the TRD supercharger and goodies.
Changed gears, lifted and 33" tires. Not a bad ride. I sold it in 2003 when I started traveling to South America. The guy who bought it had nothing but trouble so I guess I moved on at the right time.

All the rest of my vehicles have been GM trucks, and will continue this trend I imagine until I... can't.

I still have the data plate, VIN plate and title to a 1970 Challenger R/T hemi/4 speed. I found it half buried at a salvage yard we lived near growing up and for helping him, he gave me those and some others. The car had been stolen, stripped and set on fire in 1971.
