Engine to Chassis Ground

Could anyone tell me where the engine to chassis ground wire would be located on my 1980 Chev truck.

If I remember correctly, on my '82 with a 305, it was on the back of the head, to the firewall. Not certain that's the correct one you're wanting, since the firewall isn't the chassis. I did pull a grounding strap off of this area on mine though.

Yes, I think that is the one I’m missing. The bolt was replaced in the head but without the ground wire. I am hoping this will help with my inaccurate gauges. Probably not.

Engine to body is done from rear of passenger head to firewall.

Engine to chassis is done alternator bracket to passenger side frame.

Wouldn't that be the alternator bracket down to the frame by the fuel pump area?
That's where mine is on my '80 K25. Large ground from alternator bracket to frame near fuel pump. Small braided strap from the back of passenger head to firewall. I also have a large ground from the intake manifold bolt on the drivers side to my Aux battery ground post.

Main grounds are Engine to chassis (frame), pick a spot, but alternator bracket is common. Battery to engine. Engine to body (firewall). Bed to chassis (frame)
Other's (after disassembling most of my truck body). Gas tank fillers to body (I think). Tail lights to body.
Aside from individual components in the cab and engine bay and accessories I think that's about it.
