Does anyone have a reliable decoding source for engine numbers? I keep getting partial decodes or "how to find the engine number" in my search. I have the number, just need a website or book that has all the info in it

For info it's a 305

Got it off that ear/tab behind the alternator

FDB= 84/305 4bbl manual made in Flint Michigan on Februrary 25th

Thanks man! I had a couple of looks on that site but couldn't find the FDB part. I'd guestimated the date and knew it was Flint. Now I know the rest! Thanks again!
