Wazzz up guys????
My Edelbrock 1406 carburetor's electric choke is not resetting the fast idle cam after I'm done driving for the day.
Note:
If I manually set the fast idle screw on the cam when the engine is cold before I start up, the choke does open electronically, and when I hit the gas the engine resumes correctly to normal idle...
What should I do, guys????

Sounds like you are not using or setting the fast idle screw correctly,or the choke is not set correctly,or something is wrong with the carb . You should probably buy or borrow a book on Edelbrock 1406 or Carter afb,(1406 is AFB repop)so that you will have a complete understanding of all adjustments and settings on that carb. The way this is supposed to work is,you step on the throttle fully once. The choke plate rotates closed and since the throttle is open the cam can rotate with the choke plate ,without hitting the fast idle screw. When you release the throttle now the fast idle screw comes to rest on the raised portion of the fast idle cam. As the choke opens the choke plate rotates, the idle cam rotates with it until it has rotated until the screw no longer touches it. If you've set curb idle using the fast idle cam you will have a problem,if the fast idle cam isn't rotating with the choke then you will have a problem. Those aren't the only possibilities, but that's where I'd start.
