Drop shackles and hangers

I put some drop shackles on my truck and took a leaf out and the top of the hanger is pretty much resting on the bottom of my bed I cut the bed supports.. what's the significance of the hangers will this give me more clearance? Thanks

Drop hangers alone give you about 2 -2-1/2 inches of drop. If you want even more drop install a axle flip and that will give you up to 5 inches more drop.

Right but will it give me more clearance from the top of the shackle to the bed?

If whatever you install lowers the truck, then you will lose clearance

With the drop shackle you cut bed as you did for clearance .
the flip kit, less springs, will Not add or subtract from that spot

use a western chassis rear spring, front drop hanger for 2in of drop
