Hey Guys I have a 1982 k20 Silverado with a drop bumper. Does anyone know the weight capacity? Im new to this site. My uncle bought this truck in 1984. i was 14 years old and fell in love with it. He had to park it in the barn in the 90s because of emissions and gave it to me a couple years ago. and its still awesome. Now im building it back up with my 14 year old son were having a blast.

Probably gotta look for a stamp on the bumper for manufacturer and maybe model to tell. Varies by manufacturer. Pic would be nice.

Howdy neighbor! I'm up around the Washington Courthouse area.

Some aftermarket drop bumpers were rated for a lot of weight. The specs should be stamped in the center area of the bumper.
