I was told it needs to lean back at full flex so as it doesn't come forward and bind.

Mine has rearward lean but I installed 56" 3/4 ton springs, instead of the stock 52" springs so I had to move the brackets back to where the front bolt holes for the bracket lined up with the rear rivet holes of the old hanger in the frame. My flip kit is from Offroad Design though so more of an apples to oranges comparison. I don't think lean helps with ride quality, since the rear of the spring moves forward and back with compression/rebound. Once you get the old brackets cut off I would just bolt it in the stock location and see what you get.

The way I always learned was that you're shooting for about 22°. Vertical would make for a pretty stiff ride with the issue of possible inversion (shackle going the opposite way you'd like).

6 inch shackles. it lifted that side maybe 2 inches which i took out 3/4 springs and put in 1 tons. Then when i move the hanger foward i suspect it to drop a lil more. Should be about the same as before im removing lift blocks for shackle flip.

Shift it forward one set of holes... should get you a pretty good shackle angle and the height will drop a touch.

Done! took 3 trys to get it right. was in rear holes to start. Moved them foward tjen the shackle was at a 45 with no weight on it. So swaped left for right on foward holes and im pretty happy! Cant decode if i like the look more or less than the blocks but its done!
