Distributor with limiter

My 334 small block needs a distributor and there might be enough power in it for needing a rev limiter too
I have understood the GM Performance LT4 hot cam asks for melonized gear in the distributor, should this one work? Any posseible fitment issues?

Propably having to order stuff overseas, I would not like to go wrong...

I had one of the MSD ignition modules in my 455 powered 87 Cutlass, I was not impressed.


While the car always ran, I always felt it didn’t run as well as it should have. My suspicions were confirmed when I sold the car to my brother in law, he promptly gutted it to basically turn it into a race car. It pained me to tear out the functioning A/C, cruise, overdrive transmissions, all the stuff I lovingly repaired.

Anyway, that module came out, and a MSD6AL box went in so he could use a Nitrous’s controller. The car suddenly ran much stronger, at that point nothing had changed to the engine yet other than the ignition.

Maybe I got a bad module? No clue. That’s my only experience with them. Given the choice, I’d go with a real ignition box.
