Hey there! So I’ve bought my first old truck 86 K10. The exterior is in great shape, interior needs some work. My first big project is the dash pad replacement. I’m curious to know is it worth going ahead and replacing the gauge cluster knowing it needs to be replaced as well? Currently only the speedometer and fuel gauge work, the guy I bought it from did 3 aftermarket gauges (Tachometer, oil pressure, water temp) placed right above the 4x4 shifter near the floor. I’d really like to replace the cluster to restore it more to the the original model.
wanting to know if I’m adding to my headache replacing the dash pad then having to come back and remove it again to do the cluster. Thanks for any advise!
