Hey guys, so I'm redoing my interior over the winter, and ran into a dilemma with the rectangular door trims. I couldn't find replacement without straps, and was never a fan of the pattern they had in them from factory so I made some out of aluminum. Heres some pics.
The pieces were cut from 1/4 aluminum plate on cnc water jet then I had to do a little trimming and filing to get the fit just perfect. Then I just carefully drilled and tapped the backs, installed set screws, hand brushed them and two coats of clearcoat. Hope you like.
