Back in the day my dad used to drive a crew cab.. He used to absolutely adore it.. I thought of fixing it up for his 70th.. I’m done with pretty much everything.. except the door. The key doesn’t turn on the passenger side door.. I really need to get this done in the next day or two. should I call a locksmith?

Have you tried getting some penetrating oil into that lock cylinder? Since they don't get used much on the passenger side one of the tumbles could be hung up and not allowing it to turn. If you call a lock smith you may want to have both lock cylinders out of the truck to save some labor charges. These are easy locks to work on if a tumbler kit is available.
