Cranking but no start after finishing job

Hello,

I just replaced my stock manifolds with jegs long tube headers. I also removed a 4 inch body lift.

Now that it is all back together my truck just cranks and wont turn over. I feel like it isnt getting spark but I am not sure.

Any ideas on what I should look for? I feel like maybe I crushed or broke a wire somewhere during my work.

I am leaning at a spark issue since I poured some gas down the carb and it just cranked when turning the key. No ignition.

Not sure what this wire in the picture is or if it was broken already. I should have taken more mental pictures.

Make sure you're getting 12 volts at the distributor.

After checking for 12v at the distributor, pull a plug wire and ground a spare plug to test for spark. You may have shocking results.
