I purchased Calmax 3" lowered (lower) control arms and 2" lowered springs for my C20. DJM said that they recommend using stock springs with their lowered control arms. I would like to use the lowered springs. Does anyone have an opinion or experience about NOT going with y stock springs? I want the front lowered 5" but I don't want to have any alignment or ride issues.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I just read their web page about the A-arms. I think the problem you may run into with the lowered springs is the ability to easily align it and possibly getting bump steer. Also, depending on how they set up the bump stops on the new A-arms, you may have limited suspension travel.

Charlie, Thank you for your response. I realize now, that I should have purchased drop spindles instead of drop arms. I'm in it this far, I'd like to try and make it work. If not, then I'll try and sell the arms and go with the spindles.
