Looks like it's even still original exhaust (which is a real possibility around here) judging by the cheesy GM dual tail pipes coming out the wrong side of the truck!

@Grit dog Looks similar to my truck, but not the same biggest difference is his is K10 mine C20. FYI My truck still have the "cheesy" dual pipes out the drivers side. IDK, one of these days I'll probably do something different with it. Not sure what though yet.

That's a nice looking truck. Is that really a good price for it you think? I know the value on the square bodys have shot up....

Here's a nice one for a very fair price, for anyone wanting an original clean unmolested truck.

You must be registered for see images attach
Looks really good! But I didn’t know that 106,000 miles is considered
”Super Low Miles !!” Seems to be a clean original truck !

3000mi a year or less seems pretty low to me...He's not asking BaT/Mecum prices for a "new" old truck.

That's the beauty of the PNW! Those pipes are prolly 35 years old!

Ya, I know right! That green stuff is terribly damaging to paint as I'm sure you know. My trick is polymer wax, and wash regularly. When I'm had rigs that got really green from sitting and I needed to clean them up a weak mixture of beach and water all over the surface, let it sit and hand wash as normal. Does not remove any damage the green stuff may have caused but will get it off. That's my tip of the day! lol

Well it mustn’t be a great deal, as it’s still for sale, almost a week now.

If a truck is cheap enough, I can replace the 305 with a real engine

Hey now guys I've been running this 305 in my truck and overall it's been good to me. Would I like a 350 sure, but I've hauled a lot of loads with the 305 and it's taken me to the shop and back many a time. So for me a 305 is not a deal breaker at all. It's a fine engine just a little slower and a little more finicky about stuff like timing.

I'll be honest, my rig came with a 305, a leaky one at that, lol. My mechanic is still going to reseal it for me and maybe de-emission it while he's at it. It'll be a driver for now, weekends and car shows and what have you, without puking up its guts everywhere I take it. Eventually - it will get a heart transplant, but with the recent job change and a looming recession I'll take it with the 305 and looking clean over some of the buckets with a 350 or a "new" crate motor that I've seen selling for the same or quite a bit more than what I paid for her.

I'm right there with you. IDK, if you have seen my threads on it, but I just went though an oil control issue. Long story short my plan always has been to run the 305 until it's done and then swap in something else, most likely a 350. I was ready to pull the trigger, and order a 350 but my engine builder had a 3 month wait. So I ended up doing valve stem seals and an intake gasket to help the 305 out. At the time I was figuring I'd order the 350 in the fall and install it in the winter when the farm is less dependent on the truck. The only trouble is the 305 is now running so darn good. I guess we'll see how I feel come this fall, but I might decide to keep running the 305 for a while. I mean it's still getting the job done!
