Well Wednesday night after detailing my Truck I went out…ended up doing some Dukes of Hazard ****…long story short. My Beautiful old farm truck got flipped on its side…

Damage report:

Need to sway bar and inner and outer Ty rod ends.

Passenger door, probably a new bed. “Lost all my bed bolts, still on there but it was pretty rusty to begin with. It’s Chevy orange 79 K10.

Truck still runs but needs some love. Drive it home from the tow yard the next morning. Just drives, and looks like **** now on the passenger side.

I LOVE MY TRUCK GUYS, Love him! Please if anyone has leads let me know! Thanks so much to this community

If anyone has any leads on fenders, doors and a good bed, GET A HOLD OF ME. I’m hoping to find stuff in the same color. Thanks for the help fellahs I guess if I can say anything I’d say….Mama don’t let your baby’s grow up to be cowboys…

Stay safe, happy New Year to y’all!

Might just fix the door and patch the cab holes then leave the bed as a "story time starter".

"Did I ever tell you fellows about my 79 doing a 100 foot jump ? Just like then, it starts with HOLDMY BEER AND WATCH THIS !".:)

Hahaha. That ******* Whiskey just turns me into an ******* sometimes!

I’m waiting to here back from a guy I found the same color fenders/doors/ and Bed.

I’m going to get him back up and running, and rethink making bad decisions.

Well glad only thing hurt is your pride and some sheetmetal!

Sometimes folks wonder, I don’t call ‘em whiskey dents for no reason!

Now out with the story…. Doesn’t look like it slid. Just a donut gone bad or something even cooler than that?

The bed looks fine to me but what type of "Dukes of Hazzard" stuff were you doing anyways?

Yea, I think we'd all like to hear the story.

The story began with a night of Bourbon and Beers…rolling home, not far from my house. I’m approaching a round-a-bout. Driving pretty damn straight to. Get close to the round-a-bout I done shift into second, pump the brakes to slow down into the turn…from there I don’t know what the hell happened. I was completely airborne and on my side. Like airborne and landed on the side…just remember saying, “did that **** just really happen?”… long story short….picked up my truck from the tow yard the next morning. Started right up, drove it home with a bent sway bar at 15mph the entire way…it’ll be alright. Don’t ask me how I skated out of this one because it was an act of God.
