VHT Chevy orange nor Duplicolor Chevy orange matched the Proform orange on mine. I wound up painting over the powdercoating to make everything the same.

Yeah, I've run into the same thing. Chevy Orange will vary by manufacturer.
I *think* the Rustoleum Chevy Orange may be close to the cast Proform valve covers.

there are two Chevy Orange colors produced by Dupli-Color: Chevrolet Orange DE 1620 or Chevrolet Orange-Red DE 1607.
The lighter orange 1620 is '62 and later, more red-er orange 1607 pre '62
