Carpet differences between 81-86 and 73-80 in 2wd 4 speed

hey guys i have a chance to score new carpet pretty cheap. i currently own a 74 2wd 4 speed c10. the seller has a carpet set for the 81-86. what are the major differences. can i make it work and make it look decent??

There’s no hole for the dimmer switch on the newer carpet. There may be a hump size difference but I don’t know that for sure.

the new carpet is for the 4 speed 2wd same as mine. i am having a hard time finding out info on it

Can anyone else confirm there's no differences between the various model years 73-74, 75-80, 81-87 in the shape of the floor boards/trans bump? Is 2wd and 4wd the same shape trans tunnel minus the hole for the shifter?

Asking because I'd much rather have loop carpet in the 86 than that cut pile, but seems loop carpet is only offered for 73-74 models.

Dimmer switch hole don't matter to me. Either leave it open or install one and use it to run some accessory lights or something.
