Carb Intake Combo 454 Suburban

Recently purchased an '86 C20 2WD to restore. My goal is to use it for a tow vehicle. I've tuned the carb on it as best I can, but still have minor issues with it. Looking for recommendations on a good combo for towing and fuel efficiency.

I don't mean to lecture, but, the carb is only a part of the system. If you are going to do a resto, you should really look at the whole package - carb, intake, cam, gear ratios. If you are just looking to do a carb replacement, an Edelbrock 750 cfm is a pretty trouble free and economical choice.
