I have an '85 K-10 Scottsdale that I am working on. I'm not sure how many times it may have been painted before I bought it. Currently it is a solid silver color without any side molding. I have attached pictures of the glove box info. The man at the PPG paint store said that based on the glove box info, he thinks it was two tone paint originally but he couldn't make sense of the paint codes.

I have attached the glove box codes and would appreciate someone helping me read them.

Thank you

Sometimes you'll find the build sheet on top the gas tank or under or behind the seat. I had a 73 Corvette and when I replaced the gas tank I found what was left of the build sheet.

I see the silver code and burgandy, i think it may have been 2 tone but also the burgandy may be interior color? Maybe @bucket can help.

117L 17 is your Silver metallic.. if you had two-tone it would be listed as deluxe Two-Tone. CEE1 Burgundy must be the interior

Thank you to everyone for trying to help me. Yes the interior is the burgundy referenced on the glove box info. It never occurred to me that it could have been two tone until the paint man mentioned it. However now I think he is mistaken. The silver paint in the picture has been removed and some body work done but I wanted to go back to whatever paint scheme it came from the factory with. I'll go back with the 17 silver metallic.

Thanks to everyone

Yours is beautiful. I thought about it. Maybe go with colors similar to yours and get some side molding. Do you know if the Scottsdale package ever came two tone?

"ZY1 Solid Paint" means it was not a two tone from the factory.

The codes for the various two tones shown above were ZY2, ZY3, ZY4 and ZY5, and would appear on your SPID if they had been ordered.

Two tone paint was not restricted and could be ordered with any trim level.

Scottsdales should have body molding. Custom Deluxe wouldn't unless it was ordered with a upgrade appearance package if I remember correctly. Deluxe front appearance package that is on your SPID I think was the quad headlights like a Silverado would have came with.

One other observation: it shows it came with the PA6 wheel, which is the flat spoke "wagon wheel".

The rally wheels are RPO N67.
