I have to know. Did the turbine lock up and spun the power unit, or did the power unit fall out of its frame?

That thing has not run since the late 70's early 80's. Sure cattle just got to rubbing on it and pushed it off the pipe frame. Was just sewing that field and seen it and got tickled, a ford laying over, could be a mopar??????

Edit to add Eric, that is how these old irrigation motors were set up. just sitting there. Each engine was set in a frame, every well had it's frame for the motor frame to set on, slip yoke drive shaft and walaa, water......till there weren't none. Have seen several of those engines and their frames laying several feet from the stand and a knarled up drive shaft around there somewhere.

It appears to be a slanted 6 cyl. Not sure it is a Mopar slant six from the pic. I had a Plymouth 225 c.i. slant 6 cyl. in my first car. Could be sure if an up close pic was taken.
