I'm about to replace the cab lights on my 87 3500 and I'm hoping to be able to use the stock mounting holes. Does anyone know if there are any after market cab lights that will match up with the stock screw holes?? I've never bought cab light, always just shaved the entire things, but I kinda like the look of them on this truck. If anyone has any advice please let me know.

I put on one from a later - 1996-98 - truck with a brake light. But it wasn't anywhere near a bolt in.

Totally off the brake light issue, sorry...but, do I see a double moonroof on the top of that cab?

Wow...don't think I've ever seen anything like that on a square? You sure you wanna get rid of that? Pretty unique. Lol
How would you get rid of that? Besides sell the truck? Are they leaking?

Btw... sorry "Bagged" for hijacking your thread with this.

LOL!! I was kind of intrigued by the whole moon roofs in a square myself. Those things are the strangest thing I think I've ever seen in a square.
I was talking about the front cab lights though. I want to keep them but don't want to have to weld in the old hole when I put on new ones, and I'm not to sure I like the look of the stock ones. I want some lower profile lights up there instead of the factory pointed lights.

I've seen some later model cab lights (88-98) on a square that looked real good. They are lower profile, but I don't know if the holes line up.

Since I already had this in my pbucket album I'll put it up so people have a better idea what you're talking about.

You check any shops that sell parts for big rigs? Those boys do love their lights.

I never thought about checking with the big rig shops. I actually live in Joplin,Mo. right now. So the chrome shop mafia is about 5 miles up the road from me.
I really wouldn't mind not using the stock bolt holes, but I really don't want to have to weld anything that close to my windshield seal and melt it down or something to make it start leaking.
