I have had this idea in my head for awhile. I know where i can get my hands on a later model C30 Crew cab cab and chassis truck for cheap and have seriously considered the idea of doing a 1/2 ton conversion if it was possible. From what i can tell from what i have read so far the front end could be done one of two ways. Either i swap on C10 lower control arms and use later GMT400 spindles. Or is it possible to swap on the upper and lower control arms as well as spindles from a C10? Also how different would the rear spring perch spacing be on the rear axle on a cab and chassis from a regular crew cab? And finally can i fit the regular long bed from a normal non dually truck to a cab and chassis frame?
