honestly. I dont think so. I for some reason recall the window being D44 something. but I just now see that and I dont know what one I was on. Well must have had more than one tab lol

Lol i mean...about half of it fits.
I just keep getting bamboozled on parts because this truly is a Frankenstein suburban. My D44 is from 74-75' k10. I'm willing to bet there is not a single "matching number" on this rig.

well the nice part is it most likely was an entire axle swap not just "parts" in terms of the assembly moved and then the truck was modified if necessary to accept the parts

That is very possible. And thankfully I have found all the appropriate tie rods / ball joints / drag links. So it will be back on the road pretty soon.

Thanks. I'm quite fond of her. Its still a long way from "done" and its been a nightmare. But it was well worth the education. Ive learned more about cars / trucks in the last 6 months than I had gleaned in the last 25years.

So....in regards to my previous question. Does anybody have recomendations on hub seal / wheel bearing kits? Any brands I should stay away from?

Are there any wheel bearing / seal kits that I should avoid? Or any that you would recomend?
I rebuilt the entire rear axle with new bearings and such on my truck and used all Timken bearings and National seals from rockauto. When I did the front drivers side ball joint, I just did an inspection of the bearings and repacked them. I ended up getting new seals and the needle bearing locally, but I would have to check what they were when I get home(I got both sides at the same time, but only did the drivers side). I'm planning on doing the passenger side now that I have the truck running and driving again.

In regards to the Delphi tie rod....or tie rods in general. Is it worth spending the extra $$ on Moog? Or is it just hype around the name? I've found the moog equivalent (ES449L) and all the other parts I have installed are moog. Its just $20-$30 more expensive.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure they are all made in the same factory now anyways. I buy AC Delco if I can... otherwise its mostly a crap shoot

for a 1980 gmc k25 with a 5.7 (my truck) this is what is listed as available from AC Delco in their line that would be prob the same as moog or whatever in quality and maybe plant. Profesisonal line. I did not include Advantage line because that means dorman plants

Yeah....ive got the older style where the steering damper connects to the middle of the rod. Both rods are also off set. Like such....
