C10 73-80 inner fenders swap for 81-91

It would seem that the inner fender 73-80 have more interior space (more rounded) than the 81-91 and that with some minor modification can be swapped on the 81-91.. that would solve my slight problem of occasional rubbing that I suffered some times what do you think? already experienced? Is it worth it?

How low is your front? Mine is 6" lower with a 29" tire and I was sitting right on the inner fender so I had to remove them. Slosh Tubz would work but you do have to cut some of the inner fender structure out to install them if you end having to go that route.

Yes it can be done. On a 4/6 it will just about remove the rubbing in that area with a 27.7" tire (245/40/20). A real big dip or pothole might cause a slight rub still. 5/7 it will help but not eliminate it. You'll have to redrill the holes where it attaches to the core support an open some up along the fender mounting. The front edges up by the core support on the frame side will need trimming as well.

big thx i'm running coil over and ride ajustement at it stiffer setting maybe just modify a bit the top or like this video can do what i want!

job done! was easy not much thing to fit! now got to drive it to see if they do wath they mean!
