Can I put an 86 C/10 2wd body on a 78 C/10 4wd frame ? I know there’s an issue with the transmission hump since the 2wd hump is shorter. Are there any major issues with cab,bed or front clip bolt patterns not matching up ?

Several years ago I did that 2wd cab to 4wd chassis swap. I don't recall what year the chassis was, early 80's maybe, but no major issues popped up.

That's it. The hump in the floor is different. Everything else is the same.

You have to use the mounts that match the frame, as far the rubber bushings.
