Yeah, I wish I had my grandpa's 79 (which is what started my love for the squares). He sold it when I was 16 before he knew I wanted it and it got trashed not too long after that :bawl: He sold around 1994 and it only had like 30k original miles on it!!! Made me friggin sick. Now all we have is pics of me washing it when I was a kid. I also have his old license plate from the truck. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet but I'm going to do something with it to honor my Grandpa I think.

Oh wow... what a bummer bro, Stories like that are a shame... All the time good trucks go to bad homes... but hey, at least you got your 77 now, and you can start fresh memories... no? :driver:

BTW... there's a truck up the street from my house that looks exactly like yours, well not EXACTLY,.... long bed, same stance, color, and rims i think.. but the front end is 80's... square headlights... I'll try and snap a pix of it... have a new camera I'm playing with =0)

Very true and I'll never let go of the '77. Already too many memories of me and my dad builiding it and now with my boys going for rides in it with me and how excited they get just to go for a ride :) Priceless!

I remember that beautiful brown truck from the 67-72 chevy forum. Really dig it.
