Greetings everyone, I'm called Ataki, and I have a 1984 Chevy C10.
It's the first square that I've personally owned, but my family has a long history of them.
It was a friend's project, but he got tired of it, and I got it for a steal.
It has a freshly rebuilt TH350, Brand new tires, and brand new exhaust.
He left quite a few little things unfinished, So I've been working on taking care of the details.
So far I swapped in an Edelbrock carb, installed an MSD HEI distributor, hooked up the kickdown, rebuilt the rear brakes, and added a fan control for the electric fan he installed. (He just had a switch dangling under the hood).
All in all, It's a pretty clean truck. The interior is worn, but at least the dash is intact, with only a few small cracks around the speaker grilles.
It drives great, but I'd like to swap in some new gears, I'm not sure I like the stock 2.72's. The exhaust is way too loud, with long-tube headers and 40-series flowmasters, it's louder than a 305 should be.
Anyways, Nice to meet everyone, and I look forward to being a part of things!
