Just found this site so I thought I would join.
I have a 1985 Silverado from Arizona with no rust and all original body.
I did a quick scuff and squirt paint job on it 18 years ago with rainbow glitter in the clear coat.
I bought this 21 years ago and it's only seen rain ONE time since I have owned it.
It never sees snow.
It had a 350 with a 700r4 trans.in it when I bought it but it now has a rebuilt 1978 454 with minor upgrades in it with a turbo 400 trans.
273 gears so it cruises down the highway just fine.
I'm in the process of putting a Holly Sniper fuel injection in it now.
It's nothing fancy but I enjoy it. Now that I'm retired maybe I can get more than 300 miles a year on it.
