Does anyone know of a good cheap set of aftermarket plug and play round eye LED headlights for my 78? Ive seen a few cool sets of 7" round on ebay for around $80 but they say they wont fit. Ive seen guys say that wrangler round headlights work and these say they are for wranglers. Im confused but interested in a set for my truck.

My experience with led lighting on ebay isnt brightness or output, its longevity. You may find one diode start flickering and for me, the whole set is trash then. OCD kicks in an I go nanners.

But for $80, I'd try em out. Maybe even spend a little more and find a seller with a longer warranty. Most of those lights come from the same factory, some guys buy deeper and can offer a better warranty. Also, buy from a US seller otherwise the warranty becomes useless due to shipping costs.

Why not hella sealed beam with an led bulb inside?

These say they come with an anti flicker harness adapter.

Got any pics of what that looks like? I'm wondering what it is for these old vehicles, on new ones its just a resistor pack to fool the computer into seeing the full load a set of incandescent bulbs would provide. Me thinks you shouldnt need anti-flicker kits on old cars. A relay harness certainly wouldnt hurt, though.

Looks like they are a resistor pack. In any case, I've seen different vehicles with these type of lights and shine pretty bright. Did you order em yet?

If you do it, I am interested to see what you think.
I like the output, but I do not like the way they look on them.
I have been tempted to put them on my VW, but the look always stops me.
