Hello,
i have recently purchased a 1984 K20 that has a 4" lift underneath it with Rancho 9000 shocks. The truck has about 1-1/2" - 2" rake in the front versus the back end. How can I lift the front end up economically and safe to level the truck out?

I can get only 1 pic to load up. Sorry for that. This is the front. The back has 4" blocks under the springs.

it appears the arch has gone out of those springs. either that or they are only 2" lift springs. highdesertranger

Thanks for the comment. Are your thoughts to purchase 4" springs and this should correct the problem or have these springs re-arched?

for me to make a recommendation over one pic is hard. let me ask this can you post some better pics? does it have a raised steering arm? the reason I ask about the steering arm is the angle of the arm is what led me to believe the springs were shot. highdesertranger

ok it looks like 2 inch front springs. if they are, just install 4 inch springs make sure you install a steering arm too. highdesertranger

I'd agree that they look like only 2" lift springs in the front.

I dunno fellas, they look like 4 inch springs to me. Just a little arch. Two inch springs would be more flat.

Pickups sit higher in the rear. K5's and Burbs tend to be a little saggy in the rear.

the reason I said they are 2 inch is the angle of the drag link. it appears there is not a raised steering arm installed, and the offset appears to be minimal. highdesertranger
