Yep its 2 piece manifold. The fuel rail w/injectors mounts in the bottom section of the manifold. Then 2 fuel lines go into bracket that bolts on top in the back of the fuel rail.

Here's pic

Yes it leaks around where it attaches to the fuel rail. My fellow student in class bought paper gasket maker but my teacher said wont hold up like the actual gasket thats supposed to be used cause of it being around fuel.

What does the original look like it is composed of?

Take it apart first, and see if its just an O ring...gonna have to take it apart anyways.
On TPI, the fuel regulator block is similar to that fitting, but underneath, it is machined to accomodate an O ring, similar to the ones found on fuel injectors, In which case, should come with the complete fuel injection o ring kit.

Ok Dave,
I have given this some thought, and this is what I would do: Take the block off, where the fuel lines go into. Go to the parts store, and find 2 O rings that are a little bigger than the 2 holes that the gasket would seal up. Then take the o rings and the block to a machinist, and have channels machined around each hole, about 2/3 the depth of the new O rings. This is the only way I would do it if in your situation.

the area underneath part# 27 is what we are trying to get the 2 fule ports on the underside to look like.
