Hello all I am new here. Thanks in advance for you help and dedication in keeping this forum SQUARE BODY I recently purchased an 85 Chevy Suburban. The timing makes a distinct humming noise, when I go to press on the pedal after warm up it dies, and takes quite an effort to get her to start. Note: I recently replaced the cuadrajet Rochester it originally came with and the manifold with an Edelbrock manifold and 1406 Edelbrock carb, yet it still continues with dying when I go to mash on the pedal after warm up, has, new plugs, wires, oil y filter...please help?
