I have an 84 C30 which I bought all new A/C hoses and components to get the A/C working again. I cannot find the small AC return line coming from the evaporator core to the front condenser. Seems 84 in all the truck catalogs is a N/A piece.
Can anyone recommend where to get one to replace the one I have. Any suggestions would be helpful.

thanks

If it is the hard line, a part out would be a likely source. I had sold one before from a parts vehicle I had at a time

Your difficulty in locating the proper part could be because you're not using proper terminology.. The proper name for that hose/line is liquid line.. The compressor pulls the Freon gas out of the evaporator and pumps it through the condenser where it is cooled and converted to a liquid state (condensed). The hose in question carries the high pressure liquid Freon TO the evaporator via the expansion valve.

Unless you're going for originality, the line doesn't have to be a "hard line".. Regular flexible hose with proper fittings will work just fine, Size is important, so size the replacement accordingly..
