I have a 78 k20. I was just asking around to see if a 79 c10 frame can be converted to 4×4.The frame on my k20 is bad, and I have the 2wd frame out back that is good. Any info would be great

Yes. There are guys on the forum who’ve done it. Try searching the build threads.

can it be done?..........yes

but it's not optimal and it's very easy, to not get it right.

I would hold out for a 4x4 frame. why is your frame junk?
