To give bigten a more detailed answer while ignoring his tire size question.. The drive gear tooth count on the tail shaft is designed to accept (be compatible with) only 3 or 4 plastic driven gear tooth counts.. Beyond that range, the drive gear tooth count has to be changed.. But that may not be the issue with the driven gear failure... The "transmorgifier" (transducer) may be in the early stages of seizure causing the gear to fail...

He's a pretty good kid and his nose isn't snotty..lol.. Kinda like the kid that once worked for me.. Everybody poked fun at him, and occasionally he poked back.. The whole shop had his back.. Nobody else was allowed to razz him...
