This came out of a 2015 3500 2wd dually silverado.

$1000.00 or trade for a good working 2005 or newer 4l80e

I can guarantee the trans works. if I trade it, you'll have to do the same unless
its still installed and running in what ever you have it in.

I wanted to run this combo in my square, but I need a 4l80e for 1000 HP turbo engine.

Welcome back. You've been gone for several blue moons.

So you don't think the 6l90-E will hold up to the 1000 hp? Or is it a tuning issue?

This would be an awesome combo, If im correct, 6l80/90e trans are being ran in supercharged ZL1 camaros. Thats why I picked this engine combo.
Then I decided to do a turbo build and was told by many trans shops that I needed a 4l80e to handle anything over 600 hp.

For what I understand, the 6L90 is a HEAVY DUTY trans and can take some power, But not much performance parts out there yet..Im pretty sure
tuners are capable of tuning these trans now since they are becoming more of a common swap. Im just stuck in deciding what to use.

Meanwhile the Zo6 and Camaro LT motors are putting down 1000 Procharged horsepower all day long on the 6l80/90 combos.... I think I'd look at some other builders/tuners and ask more questions before I trade it away. I think you already have the superior transmission to be honest. You just need someone that can tune it properly. People want to use the 4l80E because they do not want to invest the time to learn how to tune the newer stuff and I think it's not necessarily the best transmission for your use overall.
