6 x 9 Behind Seat

I am looking at adding some 6 x 9 Speakers in the cab corners and was wondering the best way to mount them. I saw where a guy built some brackets for $65.00 but I can not seem to get a hold of him as when he advertised to sell them was back in 2008. Anyway, are there any other good ideas out there?

My truck currently does not have any brackets nor speakers behind the seat. I see the 4 x 10 brackets that can be bought from LMC. Are there any 4 x 10 speakers that are compatible with a 6 x 9?

I made a pair out of sheet metal, really not too hard. Just cut your opening for the speaker and leave a couple inches on both sides to bend at a 45 degree angle for mounting flanges, one for the back wall and one close to the door. Mounting is totally up to you, strong epoxy glue or sheet metal screws. I opted for screws.

I got mine from the guy cah2873 mentioned and they are very nice I like them a lot and it wasn't terribly difficult to get a hold of him, I ordered mine about a year ago though

I have the same 6x9 brackets they are nice. The guy has a pay pal account. It's been 3-4 years, but he shipped them quickly.

I have a complete set of 4"x10" factory brackets, speakers and grills I just took out of my truck. I'll give them to you if you pay for shipping. PM me if you're interested. If I recall though, I'm not sure if you can put after market speakers in the stock mounts without doing some modification. You would have to space them out. The factory magnets are very small, but thats what allows them to fit in the cab corners.
