I'm torn between using the 700 and the 4l60. I have a 700 from my 350 tbi, but installing a 5.3.
Looks like I need a spacer and tv set up from bowtie overdrives. What else would I need to run the 700?
Or go with a 4l60? Thanks in advanced!

Your truck should already have the power Fed from fuse box to brake switch to vac switch to the trans connector.Other then that shifter linkage and trans cross member, a cooler and your ready to go.

Sent from the dust in front of you!

The 4L60e, run my the ECM, means you can tune shift points and firmness, as well as TCC behavior, without ever touching the underside of the truck. The 4L60e is stronger, and evolved a great deal since the demise of the small block. Why cling to a 700r4?
