I have an '87 K5. Years ago I bought a 4" lift (front springs, rear blocks) from a friend selling it. My truck has 33" tires. It actually taller than I wanted and now I've got my truck running again. I'd like to go to a 3" lift.
The original kit came with an extended steering knuckle. Would that have to be changed back to go from 4" to 3"?
I think I could use the same shocks, is this correct?
I feel like all I really need is just a pair of front 3" springs, rear 3" blocks and not have to buy an entire kit. Do these commonly come up for sale used?
Thanks,
