3 point belt issues

Hi all,
I got the 3 point belts from LMC, and I’m having a heck of a time trying to get the shoulder anchors to work for me. The bolts supplied with the belts will not bite in these threads. It feels like the anchor threads are stripped out, but I don’t think this truck ever had 3 point belts so I’m confused how that could be. I’ve checked the bolts with a thread gage and they are the same as all the YouTube videos I see of guys installing this kit without issues but I’m here struggling.
If my anchor points are stripped/damaged what would be my next step forward? I’d really like to have shoulder belts because people just drive so reckless these days.

He had the same issue with his seatbelts, maybe he can advise you..

DJ, I did not get ours from LMC finally went with Seatbelt belts plus and had same issue. I just ran a tap a short way and they all worked after that
