Hello first post here.

Got a few questions Hoping for some answers or advice. Doing a full resto on my 79 k25 with a turbo ls in. Looking at swapping it to 2wd going to replace all the suspension anyways , will i just need a suspension kit and cross member? And some recomendations on suspension for front and rear. Thinking caltracs in the back and qa1 in the front.

:welcome: If it were me and I was doing this I would just find a 2wd frame and swap everything over.

This.

Even if you’re going with aftermarket parts it’s easier to have a visual reference and you’ll know all the 2wd parts will fit. Also gives you the opportunity of cleaning/painting the frame with the least amount of down time.

Agree with the above recommendations. Especially since C20s are the 2nd most reasonably priced squares behind 2wd Suburbans.
