Does anyone know for sure what the 4wd shift pattern should be on a 241C out of a 91 suburban? I think mine is set up like this:
2 HI all the way back
4 HI 1 click forward
N 1 more click forward
4 LO all the way forward.

But yet on a GMT 400 2 HI and 4 HI are reversed you have to pull back 1 to go to 4 hi?

Also would like to see a picture of the shifter in the cab and how it mounts to the transfer case

My 241C in my '89 is the exact opposite of all that......

DOAHHHH

I bet I am forgetting about the "leverage" I am looking at it as the lever that is on the transfercase not the shifter in the cab that would make since now. I dont suppose you would have an extra shifter would you?

Or if anyone that has a pick and pull sees one let me know how much it is.

Same as NP208. NP208 and NP241C use the same shifter, so just about any half and three quareter ton from 81 - 91 in truck, blazer or burb is going to have the shifter you need. Should be very common and easy to find. Well, I say that, but 4x4's are ALWAYS rapped in Pull A Parts.

There is also a wiring harness with a plug that goes to the Tcase. I think it powers the light in the Tcase shifter, and operates a 4x4 light in the dash. I don't have a 4x4 light in my dash on the 85 K1500 though. And the wires are plugged in.

Thanks Retro My transfercase already has the linkage rod hanging off of it so the shifter and the bezels is what I am needing

My dash does have a light for the 4X4 and I am going to hook it up :Moon:

I bet I have one too. Maybe the bulb is out on mine. :flipthebird:

lol well the instrument cluster i got from retro has the opening for the bulb but no wire in the harness plug or a bulb but I am going to take a terminal from the harness in the truck and move over to it and get it to work.
