Been drivin a Honda and want to buy it.

Negotiations have stabilized at $1200 and it's the daily.

147k. 1.8L 5-speed auto.

Anyways!

It's on 2tone Honda EX16s that some kid rattled flat black with already plus-sized? , Worn Out 205/55/16.
The alt size is 195/65

It needs tires and i'm like...hmmm. cuz clean-assed 15s, obviously.
 right?

So I find some cheap, killer, Honda Y-spokes PLUS white. letter. radial. T/As to fit.

Omg

Watch.

205/60/15 is the smallest white letter tire I can buy.

But it's damned near the same size as the 205/55/16.

Not cool cuz that don't work for me AT ALL.
15s over 16s is intended to murder the 60 foot ... remember thats where drag races are won, not at the finish line - by spinning my axles 6.inches. FASTER - so now i'm onto a 205/50/15 because that will haul ass and slay the next lane's Civic, NO PROBLEM.
;) Wheel and tire swap. Done.

6 inches faster?
Yes. WAY worth doing.
See the circum?
÷ 12 (inches in a foot) = how far it travels in one revolution.

6 inches difference in seven feet.
between sizes...
per 72 inches for a 23?
x 1320 feet per quarter mile = how much faster I finish first. Six inches may not seen like much but it adds - quickly at full throttle.

Get it?
Do the math and come up with the different 60+ foot at the BIG END = the amount i'm ahead by.
Welcome to PWN FVCKING CITY.

LoL

but i'm new and dont i dont know wtf im talkin about...on second thought you prolly shouldnt pay me any mind.

Not making any "new" or "more" power mind you, tire/wheel size changes are only moving the power already made to a different r.p.m , see?
Sure a taller wheel has higher top speed potential but a smaller diameter will reach the max faster.
Consider the battlefield..:headbang:

Smaller tire guy spends more time at the top of his hp curve thus - spending more.time. making more.power. faster.

I wonder about using two inch pipe..

Whatever. We've got to move on.

:beatdeadhorse5:

Now you feel me. Picture is worth a thousand words and ****, thats more like it! RIP RWL. The RWL sadly aren't that much cooler than goin that much faster LOL?. bet it would FLY on the 50s! Also bet id be the only white letter Honda in town. Too much haul ass tho , not sry. Plus it would lower it awesome..half of 1.8 inches? For "free"?
Word.
Needs done.
Make it happen.
Same 1.8 as the engine?
Omg.
Freaky obvious sign but gotta run the 50 series - shibby.
Really sticky good ones are stupid cheap compared to a 4x4 tire especially.
Imagine price difference between a 23 and a 35.
Yeah a frickin 23.

I told my Discount Tire guy that if I couldnt buy a 50 series , white letter tire than I really wanted to buy is a

23×6 AllSeason/AT/M+S tire
:grd:

No problem right?

The Country has gone to hell and now we can't even produce a 205/50 series/15 with the tree and mountain symbol SO I think that means The Terrorists are winning. :( lmao.
****.
We gotta hurry up and win that damned Trade War!
What is the World comin to?
It's full of people that spray paint aluminum wheels black.
Look.
:(

AND THEN I went to my insurance agent's office today because the policy ended on the 19th.

I pose the question Ls and Gees, which to you propose is the cheaper vehicle to insure?

A 1988 Chevrolet K5 Blazer
A 1988 Chevrolet Iroc-Z
A 2009 Honda Civic EX?

Honda (Eileen?) rolled 148k today and she's really a 2009.

I saw the Blue Ox today and return soon, stay tuned!

She's in good company, look!
Reeled in a '71 ElCamino.
That's GREEN  even. Relly sharp.

Babe Ox keeps makin him money just sittin there and I think he started workin on her for free if he gets bored enough.

FUGETABOUT the Honda - you need the Elky. :D Fits in w/ your GM stuff ya have already.

But - if you can has cheap transpo for $ 1200.00, why not ?

Just not a fan of hopped up Hondas with fart cannons - stealth mode is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more fun.

Enjoy !

Make sure you lower it enough so the rear wheels sit at a 45 degree angle , and then get the extensions with wire wheels so it looks like Ben Hur's chariot.

SCHWEET !!

Nah , I wish. They're both broke down and I need a ride now.
Neighbor is buying his old lady a Chrysler 300 -just like she wants- and he wants her 2015 CRV.

The story goes he's a disabled veteran thats retired at age 46? and he cant hardly see , certainly cant drive at night and he is cool lettin me drive his Civic to work -overnight- while I save the cash to buy it from him.
Buuut Mama is back from holiday now and negotiations are HARD stuck at $1200 but I still has tricks up my sleeve.sad face. lol.
It's workin out SO far but my cheapest option -BY far- is to fix the Iroc, I just aint started yet.

No room left in 2019 for beginning such monumental tasks!

I only lack gaskets and doing it + stuff .
Couple hunnert bucks left is all. I lack the P/S. pump- the real money has been spent already.
It was all fixed and running better than ever!. The only required - change - is the umm...pair of cylinder heads .lmao.
:(
Under the Tuned Port Intake I just resealed and fixed with $500 in new parts last summer.
That's all sorted out now, one year later. (The car). Runs (RAN) **** now.
Then.
And I still have to finish the $1000 cylinder head swap..
$1000.
Remember the #113s..?
I'll change the water and power steering pumps while im in there..:(

I also spent $1000 last summer rebuilding Bonnie Blazer's transmission.

Maybe 1000 miles later it died with a BANG! in a 40mph zone and left me on the side of the road. I towed it BACK in front of my house and urged her to get comfortable. Sorry Bonnie, I never wanted this...
Im lookin at $1800 now to install the proper 4x4 trans.
Fool me once 2wd hack job and shame on YOU.

I'll keep dumpin money in Bonnie sure, she too is a black '88 with a 350 and gray interior ...I am actively shopping for 6 lug IROC wheels..not IF...when.

but in the meanwhile,,,

$1800 vs $1200 vs $500?

In reality I gotta take that the Hell en Camaro BACK.APART.

FYCK!

It was JUST. FIXED.
KICKIN ASS too!

LOTS!!
:mad::mad:

But I DID want (to change heads) lol just not like this.
I'll have it exactly as I want and there are moar asses to kick but:
it's cold.
In the meanwhile lol.

Buying parts for my neighbor's car - in the meanwhile - AND it's a blessing? lmmfao...i'm sick - i'm tellin ya!

I did not realize the tranny dumped again on Bonnie- I thought you and HotRodPC
had built one - must have missed something.

Well, you probably need one cheap reliable throw down :D car, and a $ 1200.00 or whatever your haggling skilz get you to ought to do it.

Best of luck, and Merry Christmas!

Thank you sir, Merry Christmas and good luck at you and yours.

Yeah she did,,,break again,,, you're all caught up now,,, its just that fact has not been previously reported on this MSB is all. Admittedly she's been broken for some time already and obviously that sensitive nature does not call for much fanfare...I have yet to update the thread. This will suffice for today..we can bury it in a Honda thread and not force drama.

Christmas has a way of seeking out stuff like that, agreed?

That all said,

I WILL.continue. to stand at full disclosure* - reporting the good AND bad.
Building thirty year old Chevrolets can be challenging..

Enter the Honda of the future??
Whatever!

*often in real time! ;)
