I believe every vehicle since 1996 has OBDII.

It turned out to be a code P2135. They said the throttle body had to be replaced. $520 is the dent in the purse.
It's just how modern vehicles are, they have all kinds of random and expensive issues. And it's not just some of the manufacturers, it's all of them. The owners that don't have issues are just the lucky ones.
....and I know all about doing stupid stuff in the snow storm. I had my fun with that BS earlier!
