2 Piece Driveshaft Center Bearing

Has anybody ever replaced a 2 Piece Driveshaft Center Bearing? What is the procedure?

I was going to, but didn't... Still have the bearing laying around in a box somewhere.

I'd like to know how someone else has done it though.

I watched my stepdad replace the one on my '65. If you have a hydraulic press and the right attachments it is not too bad. Making sure the two shafts remain in tune with each other is critical. One time he did it while I wasn't able to watch and it took 9 tons of pressure to pop it loose. To think I was going to try and get it loose with a ball peen hammer...lol... If you have the cash, I would recommend a reputable driveshaft shop.

I found that in a search the day I posted this question on here.

I really was hoping I could do this with common hand tools in an afternoon. Figure I could knock out all the u-joints and this all at the same time ya know? And the trans seal too.
