2 inch lift on 2wd 3/4 ton

What are my options for this? Air lift? Spring spacers are the cheapest option. Would like some ideas from you guys who have it already set up. My c20 has 454 HD rated springs in it currently.

How about aluminum hockey pucks? I bet it could one inch body lift pretty great for my two cents worth. Hell, I may get on board - be a Pioneer! :headbang:

Spring spacers....That's a different type of hockey puck, right? In the pocket deals? Only the front because "454 springs"? but u haz 3/4 anyways

The back will be easy. 2 inch blocks or leaf springs.
The front is the problem since 2wd. Have you looked into longer coil springs or different spindles?
If they even make spindles to increase height, usually people go the other way.
Could also try a body lift and leave the suspension as is.

There is such a thing as a lift spindle,
, for half tons. Is a C20 the same spindle though?

Aint a 20 frame two inches taller than a 10 already? Some ****.

Nope.
I also know the 30 brake parts are too different and dont match up.
But there gotta be a diff between 10 and 20 parts even though JB6/7/8 brakes and all that jazz.
Was just upgradin the brakes in my 20 soz im not more help with that.

Im new.

There used to be lift spindles available back in the day.

HD springs for a C30 is about the only bolt-on option. Maybe some airbag spring inserts, I think @Craig 85 had done something like that before?

I was thinking 1 ton springs too, but since he has a 454 it may already have them.

I was thinking 1 ton springs too, but since he has a 454 it may already have them.

Heavy duty C20 springs are supposed to be the equivalent of light duty C30 springs.

If the springs are original, they probably have settled some in 40 years. I put new springs in my 68 C10 a few years back and it brought it up 2". Just replacing them might give you the lift you want.

Back in the mid 90's I used this set up in my 80' C20 3+3, then transferred it to an '88 C20 Suburban when I sold the truck. In the front I used the Air Lift 1000 air bags (# 81560). It gave me about 2" of lift in the front. Based on that, I added a 2" block in the rear to keep the factory rake. Both trucks had 454's with A/C and old school 33x12.50x16.5" tires with 9.75" wide wheels. I only had to trim the leading edge of the front fenders a small amount. I did not over pressurized the bags as I still wanted a decent ride. I'm sure the front didn't have too much ability to droop, but I made sure the upper A-arm was not sitting on the snubber. I used shock length shocks with no issues. I did not add the "T" air connector to the bags. I ran them with separate valves to air would not transfer in turns.
