1996 corvette zip tie special

Always had a bit of a want for a corvette, just did not think that I would buy the crappiest version possible.
1996 auto Vette with burned up 700r4(someone actually rigged one up in this already held by zip ties car)
Drove 30mph almost all the way home when I finally got the 2nd gear to work. Was about 30min drive at 4k rpm. I rigged the tv cable at full pull to try and get as much pressure as possible to at least make it home. Also had to rig up already rigged up throttle cable to at least get 25% throttle.
There is that rusty burban serving a life services backup lurking in the background.

Replacement drivetrain? Those didn't come with 700r4's. Or those wheels, or that paint.

not surprised the 700 is burnt up, do the 94-97 throttle bodies even have the right linkage for a 700?

Tv cable is taped to cruise control cable, which did not help it at all.

What's the plans for it?

They are often frowned upon now, but the C4's were awesome cars when they were new. That should count for something.

It came with 4l60e that is supposed to be good to be installed. But current plan is to fix throttle, reseat the tire(came off at very end of the trip) and drive in 2 gears until I get the Jeep and the mustang out of the way.
Zip ties hold hood, battery, ecm, throttle cable and probably more

I have nothing against zip ties but I cannot imagine using them to that extent!! Lol
