Working on an 87 TBI motor just had built, bought a new tach and was wondering where to hook rpm lead to ? I am seeing some threads where guys have 3 leads coming off the coil. I only have what is pictured and figured the empty plug is where the tach green wire would go? It currently isn't working and I have the red wire hooked up to ACC on fuse box and I believe a good ground. Any help is appreciated thank you

that should not matter too much as long as it is an ign power source.
I have it plugged into accessory ? What's another example

Should be a couple places in the fuse panel labeled "ign" to tap. Or use a relay and tap into anything that gets power with ign turned to ON.
