I have a 1987 silverado c-10 and I want to change out the grille and headlights to a 1986. Right now it has the 2 small headlights above the signal light.
Can this be done without changing the rad support etc.?
Thanks Peter.

Are you saying you want to go from single to dual? You're gonna need to swap core supports if that's the case.

You will have to change the core support to go to the "mini-quad" setup that you are wanting.

Opps I looked at the pics in the wrong order. You already have the mini-quad setup. Yes you will have to change the core support to go back to the original lights.

Pretty common mod that a lot of folks do. It's from the 88-91 suburban, blazer, and ton trucks.

My '87 has the dual lights on top of each other and the grill is like the second picture. I always thought the side by side lights were years '88-95. ??

They only ran the "square" body style thru 91 on the suburban. blazer, and ton truck. The GMT 400 did run a little longer

Gotcha I wasn't sure how far into the 90s they ran dual lights side by side. My '95 Silverado has the side by side but looks nothing like my square obviously lol.
