Hi Everyone -
My name is Nick and I currently live in Ohio. I somewhat recently had the good fortune to purchase a 1986 Chevy K20 Scottsdale 4x4, 5.7L 350, 3-Speed Manual + Granny, Holley Carb. It was initially aquired/used for many years as a service/plow truck at a small county airport in SW Ohio. While the truck has all of the typical rust found on most squarebody’s, especially those of the North, the frame is in exceedingly good shape (salt & airplanes don’t mix well). Like most square’s on the road, however, she needs some work… which I am excited to dive into!
Please know that I am -obviously- new to this website and to squares. More importantly, though I consider myself handy, my knowledge & experience with automotive systems and restorations efforts are still very much evolving. Please forgive my ignorance.
Thank you all in advance for all of your guidance… it is very much appreciated!
Nick
PS - I am also working on my “wordiness”… bear with me on this too.
